I don't use mine much and I got it for free, I wouldn't have bought one. Mopeds (usually, though it varies by state) require licensing and registration though. I prefer how the IFI gear sounds, I'm not seeking a very neutral sound, I like a bit of character in it. The Onyx seems very well made and robust, you plug it in and play your music, it has very clear, very neutral sound and a lot of power. The BTR5 is very easy to use without it's app, I want to have minimal interaction with these devices, I just want it to switch on and play my tunes well. Get the Qudelix if you think you're likely to spend time with it's extensive phone app and use EQ, it's the only device of the type with such a well featured app, I would never use it, I don't bother with the BTR5 app and the Go Blu doesn't have one. Get the BTR5 if you will use bluetooth, I find having my IEMs tethered to my phone a big pain in the arse, you might be fine with it. I listen a lot with LDAC, the music I listen to sounds about the same whether I use LDAC or cable. I have the BTR5 and the Onyx, I also have an IFI Go Blu and HipDac which I use most of the time, prior to that I used the BTR5 daily for over two years, it was completely reliable and sounds great. While the highs and mids are enhanced, the lows are weak and overall I feel like the sound lacks color. THX Onyx sounds very flat I recently bought into the external DAC hype and bought the Onyx instead of the Dragonfly Cobalt. These domains will be blacklisted if necessary.
